Buteyko StopWatch bugs and solutions

Week 53 bug (January 4th 2003)

  • In some versions the week 53 bug appears at the end of the year: the last few days of the year get a weeknumber of 53 instead of 1.
This bug has been solved in version 1.2.1 and up.
Solution for older versions: if you want these days to belong to week 1 (they do belong to a new week, but the new year has not yet begun, so choose for yourself), then change the "53" in the Excel sheet simply to "1". In newer versions, there will be no week 53 anymore.

Error with doing a second statistical analysis (December 2002)

  • In older versions, a statistical analysis can be done only once during the lifetime of the application. Doing a subsequent analysis will result in a runtime error.
This bug has been solved in version 1.2.1 and up.
Solution for older versions you will simply have to restart the Buteyko StopWatch in order to do another statistical analysis.

Error with generating a second Excel sheet (December 2002)

  • In older versions, a bug related to the previous one will manifest itself when you create two Excel sheets from the "Options" menu (The "Generate new sheet" button). The second sheet will be created, but afterwards result in an error.
This bug has been solved in version 1.2.1 and up.
Solution for older versions do not create two Excel sheets in one session. Also, you can close the Excel application which is invisibly running by starting the Taskmanager (Press Control - ALT - Delete). Then, in the "Process" tab, end the "Excel.exe" process.
